Visual Subliminal Perception

Visual subliminal perception occurs below the threshold of consciousness. It happens all the time because our conscious minds cannot fully process the vast amounts of information that we see. Our eyes see everything because they are like cameras, but, by nature, some of the visual information is consciously ignored or missed but is automatically processed by the subconscious mind.

An example of this is when you are driving a car. Subliminal Messages Through Visual Subliminal Perception

Subliminal messages are considered to be effective in self help and self improvement work because they bypass the conscious mind and its filtering process, and go directly to the subconscious mind which accepts, believes, and stores the information.

The Quality of the Visual Subliminal Message Mask

The quality and impact of the mask in a self improvement or self help visual subliminal messages program has a strong influence on the overall effectiveness of the program itself.  The more complex the subliminal message (i.e. a full sentence such as "I feel good about myself", the greater the need for a simple mask.

The Content Quality of the Visual Subliminal Messages

Timing and Frequency of Visual Subliminal Messages

There have been many scientific studies done on the timing and frequency of visual subliminal messages.
